Dovecot in Middlesbrough

Visited with friends on Friday 8th July, it was empty, a nice terrace area which was clean and well maintained, we left after one drink and it wasn't getting any busier, it was the quietest place we visited all evening, I wouldn't recommend it.

Older, more affluent crowd on Saturday with some bongos and cool vibes. Dead every other day in the week tho (in the summer).

Nice. Good atmosphere and drink selection

Some great beer (Theakston's Barista Stout was delicious), but for fear of sounding a right old git, the music was way too loud to hear yourself think on Saturday evening, let alone talk to people.

Love the location and selection of drinks.And I love the outside seating area..

Great drinks choices and probably one of the best places in Middlesbrough for cocktails.

Was OK , only our group in late one Friday night was surprised how quiet it was....

Unfortunately I find the Dovecot to be overpriced for drinks and the music is too loud, the music should be loud at the front where the DJ/dance floor is but it's loud at the back too. Impossible to have a conversation

Visited on a very busy night. Some bar staff were better than others. Card machines available but be mindful to check amount as they missed decimal point and attempted to ring through £129 for 3 drinks instead of £12.90. Good job I couldn't afford to drink there all night otherwise I'd have spent more than I would have liked especially now contact less limit has been increased
