Really nice can't do enough for us. Really pleasant atmosphere and gorgeous food.

Food was lovely, staff sang happy birthday and little decorations on table made my 70th special ❤

Wonderful traditional 'Sherlock Holmes' setting very large scones with plenty of fruit in them. Lovely staff and owner. Highly reccomend

Beautiful location right inside the museum and next to the park. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was fast and very eager to help. The afternoon tea selection had a very homemade appeal and was very pleasant.

Canny little cafe. Went for wife's birthday and the lady sang happy birthday. Staff were also lovely polite people who work with a smile. Already booked for another birthday.

Went here for afternnon tea with my daughter. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Only downside was the homemade cake, a little heavy and my daughters didnt seem too fresh to be honest. She left it. Scones however were beautiful.

We were given a table as soon as walking in. My son got the kids afternoon tea which was served within 5 minutes and his face was brilliant! The ladie was really friendly and asked if it was ok and said hope you enjoy etc. Coffee was lovely!

This is my favourite place up in Teesside, when I go to visit my daughter who is studying at Teesside university. It serves delicious food, price is good, and the staff are all welcoming. Its so nice my daughter would like job lol

Usually like this place visited today ,the woman working there was so misserable caused a atmosphere in the place couldn't wait to go ,my grandson cheese sandwich didn't look fresh at all and he's cake looked dry and half the icing was missing ,me and my daughter had a cheese onion toastie was soggy looked more like bread than toast ,only good thing was cream scone ,think I'll give it a miss from now on.
