Can't star café because we never got in, Closed at 3-50 on a Good Friday we were behind 6 folk walking up to the café when we saw it had closed on the door. Why would a café close on a lovely warm Bank holiday with lots of hungry thirsty people around. Surely you would use opening hrs according to the weather and they wonder why places close down.

Came here after doing parkrun on Saturday with friends at Stewart park.Pop into here for a coffee and bacon sandwich. Both were really nice in a Caffe that is set on a really nice parkI would recommend coming here, the staff were nice and there was loads of space to sit inside and outside.

Wobbly tables and kids boxes too expensive. ÂŁ1 for sand which, 25p Freddo, 50p packet of quavers and a carton drink equaling about ÂŁ2.50. Then charge ÂŁ3.75 for all the above in a box! Shame as wont be going back due to costs.

I'm very disappointed that on google this cafe is open today , however once here , there is a sign saying it is closed until jan2nd. I've walked here just to visit this cafe, so have had to go elsewhere . Not happy at all

Converted barn, now a fairly spacious cafe. Little atmosphere or charm, but functional in that gets you out of the cold. Lots of outdoor seating for the summer and an unusually comprehensive gluten free menu were the highlights for me.

Great handy little establishment and with a lovely welcome given every time you visit. It's got a good menu offering good traditional home made drinks soups sandwiches and food at more than reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is brilliant. It's wonderful to sit and have a cuppa and a chat while enjoying some lovely food. I'd like to recommend it to anyone.

Just taken friend for Festive Afternoon Tea (offer from Groupon.) Was a wintry day so decided to start with an additional extra helping of homemade carrot & coriander soup. Absolutely delicious and warmed us up a treat. This was followed by a lovely tray each of assorted sandwiches, cakes and freshly made cream scones and lots of tea. It couldn’t be faulted. The cafe was clean, bright, with a good atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The Staff were absolutely lovely, attentive when needed and the food supplied exceeded expectations, particularly on the Groupon offer and we emerged a few hours later to bright sunshine. I’m glad I bought another voucher as I can see me revisiting again soon, but also making it a regular venue. Well worth making a visit, highly commended.
