hot wok in Middlesbrough

Had a nice meal here friday evening staff and food were nice and would of been 5 star if we had warm plates

I go here quite often! Me and a few friends love this place and it quickly became my top favourite places to eat out at! It's even a place I go to eat when I'm feeling down because the staff and food are that good!The food is amazing, we've ordered quite a few dishes but my friends and I have barely scratched the surface!I've never been disappointed with a dish we've been served and the owner (I think she's the owner) is a lovely person who me and my friends are always excited to see when we get there because she's so kind to us and we've become regulars because of the amazing times we have here!I would recommend going to this place in person, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is so calming and the staff are kind.(Photos are from the few times I've taken some before eating though we're usually too into our food to take pics)

Very tasty Chinese food offered here and very nice staff.

Placed my order for delivery at 16pm today for delivery after 17pm . This is when it started to go wrong. 17:10pm driver calls to say outside which he was not, tried taking to him on the mobile but just got foul laugh as the driver phone not working call the shop just a a waste of time said they would call back but no call called the driver 6 times his phone on mute. Finally received food cold and more abusive language. Never again called the shop not answering the calls don’t use this restaurant/takeaway.After issuing this review, call from the restaurant to say sorry and due to receiving the incorrect meals and the abusive words used by the delivery driver they would replace the full meal. 45mins later nothing called them and yet again they just did not have a clue . This place needs closing down they are taken mint under false pretences. Told the owner was talking to me to then be told she was not the manager and did not understand. Told the manager/ owner would call me in 10 mins , yes you have it no call back just lied to me . Close this please down . Don’t waste your time or money

Rang last nt to place an order 930 -10m so not tea time man shouting in background was told too busy tnt ring back and order Tom 🤣🤣🤣joke I was an out of towner visiting my mother inLaw wow who turns money down in this world know very rude but I highly recommend kahloon house as nothing was any trouble polite On phone no aggression in background food superb and delivered on time and was sooo tasty Do not hesitate to order from kahloon house not hot wok rude

More than a standard Chinese: they also do hot pots and Korean grills where you can cook a huge selection of meats, fish and vegetables at your table. Great fun

Came here for a visit to Middlesbrough, picked the family for 4 meal dealService was incredibly slow and it stated x4 mains x4 drinks etcThe food came and only 3 mains and 3 drinks we asked for the additional and it still did not come out.Upon paying we asked for the price to reflect this and they said NO and also that drinks are not Included in the deal but yet the menu says it doesNot a great experience for a first visit here and doubt we will be coming back.

This has to be the worst place for delivery, I have ordered from here twice now, but to wait over an hour both times when delivery states will be delivered in 35 mins via the app is a bit miss leading and then some lame excuse from the restaurant saying they have just sent the order out the door, I can not the knock the food as it always tastes amazing.

A very pleasant little restaurant very close to the junction of Borough Road and Linthorpe Road, in middlesbrough. It is a proper authentic chinese establishment, perhaps the only real Chinese Restaurant in Middlesbrough. The staff inside is very friendly and pleasant. Smiles all around. They make you feel valued and welcome. Service was fairly quick. I ordered King Prawn Szechuan Curry, with egg fried rice. It wasn’t long before it was served in a wooden tray. Very impressed. I enjoyed every bite of it. Restaurant’s interior is very tasteful and authentic. Oh yes, a very important observation is that they have stoves on the table and they do table cooking and hot-pots and hot soups. New Hot Wok is so much better with new decor, menu and everything else! We gonna try their Korean menu + Hot Pot/ BBQ set next week … A must try Chinese/Asian Cuisines whilst in Teesside area!
