Staff went out of their way to make 8 cyclists welcome. Order taken efficiently and brought to our table within very little waiting time. Also able to pay for our items on the order individually. Excellent environment excellent service excellent food

We have just come from Linthorpe Tearooms and what a lovely place to go. We had an afternoon tea x 3 and we all enjoyed a marvelous tea and we took boxes home because we couldn't eat it all. We will be back, looking at the menu, yes we will. Thank you to the staff for making it so good

This lovely old English style tea room is a delight and well worth a visit. We enjoyed a very tasty lunch which catered for my gluten intolerance and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will certainly be visiting again.

Always enjoy a visit here! Very cosy and welcoming! A little bit of nostalgia in the decor and a reminder of times gone by!! Tasty, home cooked food. Great value!

Daylight robbery hidden in a box. The food was OK but the price was utter ridiculous for what you get. Pennies under a fiver for a single slice of bacon, a lonely low quality sausage that turns to mush in your mouth, cheap black pudding, and not even heinz beans. If you're not going to provide quantity at least provide quality. Don't even feel like I've eaten, but I do feel like I've been ripped off. Never to return.

Such a beautiful, quaint tea room. Lovely food, great cakes, large portions. The ladies look so authentic in their white frilly hats. If I return to Middlesbrough I will definitely return.

Love Linthorpe Tea Rooms. Had my fave local delicacy the parmo, has to be done when I'm home. Julie the owner is amazing and all her staff are friendly and professional. I'd rate them higher if I could.

So, I just visited Linthorpe Tea Room with my mam and sister. What a lovely place! Homemade cakes, lovely tea, fabulous atmosphere and really helpful and friendly staff! Definitely worth a visit xx

This is a wonderful place to eat, we take our grandchildren there sometimes as they love the Victorian theme they have created. They also think it is especially 'posh' as their tea is served in china cups. Also, the staff wear victorian style outfits and are incredibly nice to children. It's a great place for adults too!
