Maharaja Tandoori in Middlesbrough

Yeah you can get cheaper if that is what you need (during present economic conditions) but the prices here which are reasonable are reflected in the quality of the food. Large portions of freshly cooked excellent quality food. I use various Indians in Middlesbrough, whenever I go here it blows my mind how good it is. Can't recommend highly enough.Saying about the cost earlier.... Try the set meal for one, tremendous value and quality and loads of food. 5 star

Ordered lamb madras now on 3 occasions the first one was soft gorgeous lamb second one not to bad , now tonight lamb wasent nice at all

I have used the Maharaja for over twenty years, that's a recommendation in itself. Tonight was one of the best! Excellent in every way.

Chicken tikka masala tasted like a sugary korma. Vile. Plus ordered on website yet price was. More when they came to the door

Absolutely appalling food and customer service.. Ordered £31 worth of food it was bland, no flavour and plates swimming in water. Trying to tell me its condensation from The carton 🙄 more like frozen chicken usually our regular place to order but will definitely not be returning after they offered me new sauce when the full meal should of been replaced

What a great tasty curry ! I was at hospital visiting and out of my local area and just googled Indian takeaway. I'm really pleased I did and thought the lamb was very tender and great quality ingredients 👌🏆👍

Food was really good but very disappointed with the experience. Got our original order wrong and staff at the restaurant were very good at arranging for a replacement to be sent. My main issue is that the driver couldn't find the address and when I was giving him instructions started swearing and verbally abusing me down the phone. Absolutely unacceptable and will not be returning

Time to update my review. Went off for a bit but right back on form. Absolutely delicious curry rice nans the lot. Better than most restaurants What can I say your back on top.
