Mannequin Cafe C.I.C. in Middlesbrough

We love this Polish Cafe in the Centre of Middlesbrough. Everything is freshly cooked and the service is friendly and welcoming. It is a fantastic place to meet with friends and enjoy a bite to eat or delicious cake. Cannot recommend highly enough. The cakes are delicious and always different.

Lovely friendly staff. Generous portions of delicious cakes. I had an egg mayo sandwich: thick slices of good quality bread with plenty of egg and not too much mayo. My wife had a BLT: thick cut bacon and tasty fresh salad. We will definately return when we're next in Middlesbrough.

Wonderful place! Delicious, homemade food , variety of Polish traditional dishes to dig into - pierogi, golabki, soups. Scrumptious cakes, also homemade and great coffee. All of that served in such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is a must visit hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely place to eat in. We have visited the place few times already, and I'm sure we will visit again.You can enjoy a huge variety of polish cuisine but also choose something traditionally English. I'm sure they also have a little twist of Italian cuisine....especially those tasty paninis.And cakes are to die for, homemade, you realise after filling your tummy with savoury, that you just simply have to make room for a piece of cake lol

Had a wonderful English breakfast and delicious cake with the family. The host was brilliant and was kind enough to point out local points of interests.

This cafe is a hidden gem and is well recommended,me and my mam have dinner every friday and we went to try here the food is amazing and the owners and staff are friendly and fun,its a relaxing environment and there's lot of choice on the menu.Good home cooked food and not expensive !!!Try for yourself!!!👍

First visit to Middlesbourgh, just recently moved into the area. Any way, stumbled upon this little cafe that was doing take away food. The proprietor was lovely, we ordered a couple of bacon rolls, nothing fancy, but in these times it's going out for breakfast I miss! Decided I wanted a coffee when our rolls were ready, so got a latte too. Will definitely visit again and hopefully next time we can sit in the restaurant. I miss those days.

Staff are wonderful and the cakes are fabulous. Had the afternoon tea but was very disappointed. White bread sandwiches and fillings were pretty much all processed meat . Scone was also a shop bought scone which isnt very good. But as stated, the staff are fantastic . If you love cake, their selection ( all home made) is very impressive .
