Waste of time. Horrendous customer service and food. Primary school dinner ladies cook better than these useless muppetsArrived 50 minutes after the expected delivery date. So two hours after we ordered it.Chips were stone cold and you could tell they had been sat in a bag a long time you know when the paper bag goes like soggy.Crispy shredded beef could only be compared to those nik nak crisps for texture. With zero beef inside the batter. Alongside being sat in a sweet and sour sauce that may aswell of just come out of the fridge for how cold it was.Phoned up to complain. Got told there was no manager in at all, and got passed onto the delivery driver instead for some reason who swore that cause the outside of the bag was warm (from where it must of been sat under the heaters in his footwell) that there was nothing that could be done and then proceeded to hang up on me mid sentence.Have since Reported to the food standards agency

I've used this Peking Chef lots of times. Pick up and delivery and cannot fault it in any way. Food is always hot if delivered. And a great menu.

Ordered direct over the internet took 1:20 mins ( delivery time indicated 40 mins ) Food arrived cold very salty chicken seemed processed the cuts and texture VERY salty Rice was good but cold Curry was bland and jelly like texture rang up to express my disappointment and the person whom answered simply put the phone down on me …….

Took £26.80 and didn't even deliver the food or have the decency to answer the phone when ringing to enquire where the food was! Do not order from here!

Very disappointed 😞 reheated food....chips and crispy chilli chicken inedible looked and tasted as if one day old...chow mein veg raw and meat burnt and chewy also appeared to be reheated...rice dry crispy again appeared reheated...usually order at least once a month but will be giving this a swerve from now on! 0/5 stars!!! Wouldn't allow to choose zero!!!

Just had Thai red curry. Far too hot with chillies and barely a taste of coconut. Fair to say it arrived hot, probably because of the chillies! I thought the Thai Green was lovely but was almost a year ago. New chef??!My partner's house special chow mein had one prawn and a couple of slices of beef. Won't order from here again. Lucky Dragon it is then

God awful. Ordered food which arrived without chips. The lemon sauce was cheap and watery. The sweet and sour was also watered down and you could see where it had separated, like a bad soup. A couple of cheap button mushrooms, carrots slices and bean sprouts. Wish I had the option of posting a picture. Absolute cheapskates. Diabolical. Wouldn't recommend it. Called to amend this and they are apparently shutting. Said they would send the driver to take food back to get refund. Haven't heard anything yet and most likely won't. Scumbags.

I spent £17 on my order, portion sizes were only just ok, food was pretty naff to be honest. A very typical 'robotic' kinda chinese. I am not convinced any chinese take aways even cook their own food anymore, they all taste the same. Bland, bland, bland. On arrival home I found they had forgotten the Chicken Curry! Had to re-wrap all the food to keep it warm until I collected (as they wouldnt deliver). When I got there the owners didnt even have the decency to appologise in person. I was given a 2 liter bottle of Coke as an appology! The Sweet and Sour chicken balls-batter was flat and lifeless. As if they had simply microwaved the pre-cooked balls. I reckon at least 50% of this meal ended up in the bin.I wouldnt recomend this take away at all, I would suggest this take away is as good as all the rest, and thats only just about average. I do wish someone would bring back the art of fast food and focus on "reputation" and not 'greedy profit'Oh how I do miss The Belle Vue Chop Suey house and the amazing family who used to run it. My curry heart is broken and longs for one last BVCSH curry! Come back George and family!!!!!!!The take away industry is about as exciting as the underside of the A19 Flyover!

Just tried this takeaway for the first time and although the food was tasty enough the quantity of meat was laughable. I had house special fried rice which had 2 small king prawns in it and then played hunt the meat in the rice. What I found was 4 small scraps of chicken and half a dozen thin tiny strips of pork which collectively did not fill a dessert spoon. At £6.30 it was very poor value and will not be going back.

We have always ordered from Peking Chef since moving into the area about 2 years ago - lovely food which is well cooked and always hot! Just had the most incredible service by them too - we ordered at around 6.45pm this evening and were told on Just Eat it would take about an hour to be delivered (which we didn't mind as we knew it might be busy!) However, within about 15/20 minutes of me buying the food, there was a knock on the door and our delivery guy was there with our amazing and delicious food! Can't believe it was so quick this time AND they never forget our free prawn crackers or spring rolls! :) We never order our Chinese from anywhere else and the service has always been impeccable to us as customers. Thank you Peking Chef!
