"Nestled in the heart of the community, catch up over an expertly kept pint of cask ale, a G&T or a glass of Prosecco. If you’re feeling peckish tuck into a pizza, a fajita or one of our hearty pub classics, cooked with care. With a warm welcome and something always going on, we’re proud to be part of the fabric of the local area."

Possibly the worst pub food I've ever had. Served by a manager that was clear she didn't want to deal with our complaint as she had enough to deal with but luckily one of the waiters was happy to take the cheese less cheese burger back (still no bacon or bbq sauce or even the advertised melted mottzerella mix just a cheese slice slapped on and some extra fries that tasted like cotton wool)Very dissatisfied, even the halloumi fries were a disaster and tasted of old cooking oil and not much more,Even the coke from the bar had no taste. We won't be returning

Saturday night, 8pm, the place was heaving, not a bad thing until we were hit with the pungent smell of vomit at the entrance and bar. Mentioned the vomit smell to the bar staff and they claimed it was sewage, beautiful. Not convinced the beer was piped up right either, Black sheep ale that looked and tasted like something else.

My local. Food is spot on and some great beer always on tap. Lovely venue with a good atmosphere. Staff are spot on. A good example of a Greene King pub.

Nice food (more expensive than other green king pubs tho) Great atmosphere, loud/clubbing scene, late license too. Good night all round. Nightmare for taxi's tho, every man for himself 🤣

Had a wonderful time on Friday night. Booked for myself and three friends. Brilliant communication from the staff the week leading up to our booking as they called to make sure everything was sorted with our menus. On arrival the staff were all SO lovely and welcoming, found us our table and sorted us a tab out.Special thank you to Vicky who was absolutely amazing. Vicky did an absolutely outstanding job looking after us (as well as a lot of other tables, she worked her socks off all eve!) What a lovely lady, really made our evening. Thank you so much for such a positive experience :)

Vicky and Daisy were so lovely, accommodating and overall absolutely amazing! I've never met a more welcoming pair of staff members and cannot praise them enough! Food was lovely, delivered very quickly and cooked to a high standard!

Took the family for a mid week meal last night. First thing to say is the staff are lovely. Greeted very warmly by Vicki who made us feel very welcome. What an asset she is. She chatted at our table telling us about events that go on at the pub.Clean pub, great size and although quiet last night, still a lovely atmosphere. James took our food order - again a very friendly greeting. We took advantage of 2 meals for £11.49. Excellent quality food - the beef and ale pie was outstanding - good value for money making it affordable for a family of 4 to eat out. This was our first visit but it most definitely won't be our last. Might even become our regular......

Decent size pub which is nicely done out. I've been in a couple of times and find the staff chatty. I ordered 2 pints of Peroni which came to £9.80 and two meals. The Katsu chicken curry and battered halloumi and chips. Both meals were in a deal that came to less than £12. Good presentation on the Katsu chicken and both meals were about the right size, tasty and arrived in good time. I would have given the pub 5 stars but I think the Peroni was a little expensive. Definitely go back again.

Fantastic grub. Staff are good too 😃 would recommend anyone to have a pop in during the week for food. At the weekend it's a different pub, great night life so don't have to travel into the town for a boogie and a beer
