The Buck Inn Restaurant in Middlesbrough

First time at this pub for my birthday had a lovely meal few drinks absolutely beautiful. Staff lovely & friendly definitely recommend this pub & we will definitely be going bk . Xx

In spite of the covid restrictions being lifted, we were told to site down at a table for service. The pub was mainly for dinners. We and others we were next to were made to feel restricted in being able to make a decision on what to drink.No atmosphere but the place was clean and tidy. I will not visit again.

DisappointedWhile the food was really good I was disappointed with the service! Couldn't split the bill, could only pay cash or card not mixture! Apparently due to covid! Unable to take this up with owner or manager as not available. Waitress was apparently in charge! Unfortunately won't be going back!!

Awful service, no reason for only table service and very unwelcoming atmosphere. Go to the Royal Oak instead a great place, fantastic service and great beer, food

Food was OK, but, not as great as it was on previous visits. I loved their Parmos but was disappointed with the one I was served. It was thin, little chicken, like one pre-bought at a butcher, rather than homemade. Little Vegetarian choice.

Very good. Didn't eat but the menu was inviting. Bar staff were really friendly and welcoming. Good place to stop and have a drink

Don’t even think about trying to go into this PUB for a drink. If just wanting this, in December, you are offered a seat outside with no cover.Hospitality is on its backside, but I’m never going in this place again!

Fabulous Parmo, but really annoying payment options - ie., one table one bill, we were told. Couldnt split the bill for the two couples dining and expected one person to pay all the bill?? Seriously! And cheesecake portion terribly small for £5.45

First meal out since lockdown and we were disappointed...Starters.. we both got Tempura prawns 5 each, can buy the exact same ones from Tesco for £2 for 10.. we paid £5.95 each.Main courses..l ordered the Rib-eye steak med/rare £18.95 it was tiny and tough, didn't look like a Rib-eye, l sent it back and got the steak pie instead which was nice.My husband ordered the pork parmo... the flavours were there, nice bechamel and cheese but where was the pork ..battered to within a couple of millimetres of its life and that was also tough and chewy. Chips were lovely, its only saving grace.Got only a quick apology when l returned my steak, obviously not that interested in why I sent it back.I may of returned the steak but we won't be returning!!
