The Dickens Inn in Middlesbrough

Love the bar usually but the bottomless brunch was a bit of a shambles. Staff didn't seem to know what was going or what to do. Drinks and food were lovely but waited a long time between drinks and at one point had 3 separate staff come to take our already placed drinks order. Bit gutted really

This overpriced pub plays music so loud that it is heard from the silent study area of the university library opposite. Despite it being on university campus, it is out of the student price range. The type of crowd this pub attracts is those obsessed with image.

Went to celebrate a birthday/baby shower, service was very poor, staff seemingly no knowledge of what they were assigned to do,the host was stop start taking guest drink orders, likewise with food orders(afternoon tea) which had been pre ordered, the food(sandwiches and cake)was poorly presented,bland ,sparse no balance, cream sponge,and cream scones,no variety,if you have allergies,no options, very poor, would not recommend

Had a function in Dickens2 which was arranged at very short notice, the staff who arranged it for us were brilliant. The food was very good, and the people who attended enjoyed it.

Had a great time yesterday at the Bottomless Brunch. Our group of four were looked after very well by the lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us. Special mention to Danni and Sharon, thanks guys, you were great! Lovely food and the drinks were flowing, really good value. Highly recommended!

One of the liveliest restaurants of Middlesbrough located at the city heart just beside Teesside University. Soothing ambient with dj and music along with both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. The staff team is friendly and welcoming.

Bar staff fabulous but food not good, stating fabulous parmo I don't think so I have had better take aways. Sorry
