We a group of four went to have our dinner this evening. But faced a very unfortunate situation. There was only one waiter serving and as soon as we popped in he asked if we were students and forced us to go for take away by hadging us take away menu saying that will cost us less money. When we told that we want to eat in he got so reluctant and said "No discount then". We never asked for any discount or anything. Even we were not offered any table. After that without listening to our order he rushed on to serve a new guest and brought the drinks which we did not want. When we asked to return those he rudely replied saying "Can't do anything you have to take it". We asked for a manager and he refused saying he is the only boss here. We just left then without having any food. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I went to this restaurant for the first time and never going there again. Worst possible service. It’s a shame. As a human being no one expect such rude and unprofessional behaviour from someone. The server did not felt any remorse or anything. Seems like he does not care if anyone eats in the restaurant or not.

The service was so bad which led me to write a review for first time. Recently ordered a takeaway from them and it was messed up. The staff insisted that the order was correct and we were wrong, but we always write a list before ordering food over the phone.

Awful. Takeaway was 45minutes late (and cold) and my wife's vegetarian curry came with chicken in it. Staff rude and dismissive on the phone.Gave them the benefit of the doubt last time we ordered from there, where the food was an hour late but at least it was edible.Would not recommend at all.

On a cold wet late November night, nothing better than a Curry from Massala to warm you up. Great curry, tasty rice and lovely Naan breads. Finally found a curry house where I would willingly go back too.

Had lovely dinner, with other work mates. Food was authentic and tasty. A bit on the pricy side but hey, its all about good food, good company and good service. Located in the heart of Middlesbrough opposite Print Works (Ex Evening Gazette) building. Highly recommended !

Phoned to order for a delivery. Asked me to wait kept me waiting for at least 5 minutes I was timing him. When he did come back to the phone kept on asking to repeat myself as the line was bad but I could hear him perfect. Asked me to phone him back after trying to place my order the first time so I did and said he could hear me now but started to place my order again and went through the same thing saying I can't hear you can you repeat please was very stressful to try and order but yeah very nice food just very very stressful trying to order on the phone it does put you off ordering
