The Regency Suite in Middlesbrough

Says open just been round the back and front not opened false advertisement also phoned and no ans not very good

Our daughter had her wedding reception there yesterday and we where very impressed; Clean well maintained toilets,with added touches( hairspray, wipes, tissues etc) Friendly helpful and cheerful staff and an overall fresh open atmosphere. Having a lift to the reception room was brilliant too as we had elderly and disabled guests.

Went for a Xmas party the tables were that crammed together people couldn't moveSpoilt the while night and the main event was on for an hour ... Never againThe door lad the waitresses were all.lovely and completely run off there feet carvery was.lovely but the starter and dessert was a complete let down

Ordered two sunday lunches and my partners throwing up and the turky had big raw jelly bits . 100% uncooked . Never again we both are unwell

One of the best work xmas party's I've been to. 3 course meal main course was a carvery all fresh 4 choices of meat all veg fresh and the tastiest gravy all piping hot. Sweets and mince pies were brought around after. The room was very smart and spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and efficient. There entertainment was George he sang lots of motown and soul which had us all up dancing all night. Great atmosphere. Found out they have tribute acts every month. Will definitely return.

The best Sunday lunch in Teesside. Tastes just like grandma had cooked it! 3 courses for only £8.95. Starters and dessert aren’t too big which allows you to enjoy the full dinner without being too over stuffed. Soup or egg mayo for starter, range of 3 meats for the carvery and large selection of desserts. Always great great service from the staff. Had a recent refurb which includes a lift in to the restaurant upstairs. We always compare any Sunday lunch to here and the regency suite just can be beaten on taste or price. Not on commission just honestly can’t be beaten. There is no card facility at the moment just after the refurb but a cash machine over the road.

Very good food with clean and attractive decor. But ... most of all, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, both upstairs and down.

Great value for money. Fast reliable delivery. Food tastes superb, I would highly recommend it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Sunday lunches well worth the money just been modernised to a high standard including fitting of a lift. Which says to me customers matter

Poor service in the cafe being going there for years the last couple of times we had our food and still waiting for our tea. This week we waited 36 minutes for a toastie. Won't be going there again
