The Resolution in Middlesbrough

Badly needs a refurb. The whole place comes across as shabby and the gents toilets had a stench all of their own. The staff and drinks were fine though.

Ordered large fish & chips, (sons usual) received small (fish finger size at best). Young member of staff argued back its on "a big plate, therefore it'sa large fish!."Pizza's burnt, and luke warm at bestBad night perhaps? Not normally an issue

Dull and not very inspiring but typical weatherspoons food so price and quality is good value for money

Staff are great and really friendly, prices for drinks are great, the food is nice but the reason for me 3 star review is because my kids got the kids meal and got a brilliant portion size, my wife got 1 of the pub classics and got a good portion size but I got one of the big plates, I got the 10oz steak which came to about £10 with a drink and honestly I got steak about 6oz and a small amount of chips, over half the plate was empty. No peas or beans, no eggs or oinion rings. Just chips. It was a dry meal. My kids got more in their kids meals. I won't be having that again. Everything else was else great.

We originally went to this pub as it was a central location within the town centre and we were hungry after a long bus journey. Food came fast but was luke warm and and the drinks were okay at best. Not bad for the price but we expected more from a national chain.

Would be nice to have a drink without the air conditioning blowing cold air on you. Maybe next time I'll have a better experience.

Cheap and cheerful, you know what to expect from a 'Spoons and it really was very good value for money, they also helped my mum have a veggie breakfast by replacing one item that they didn't have and so meant they were showing as not available.

Good standard Wetherspoons pub. Cleaning routines could be better. No salt is an issue a competent manager should be able to sort out. Ridiculous to take days and still none available.

Great food. Great atmosphere. You can enjoy a drink and food for reasonable price. Plenty tables.

Drinks very good value. Staff very friendly accommodating and polite. Only grumble is my medium rare steak was more like murdered in as in over done the chips and sauce where out of this world so can't grumble. Would come here again for meal and drinks.
