Amazing Sunday dinner delivered from The Village Kitchen. 100% restaurant quality food, highly recommended. Large portions and delivered under an hour. Will definitely be ordering again.

Booked in for Sunday dinner at 2pm we didn't get our food until 3.45 & it was not worth such a waitStaff were nice enough but 4 children waiting 1 hour 45 minutes for there food is terrible ..Also my 66 year old mother was the only one who ordered a beef dinner & was poorly for 4days with her tummy

Picked up a takeaway parmo from the Village Kitchen tonight, all I can say is the chips were great, but sadly the chicken parmo was terrible ,the chicken was plastic and grey in colour would totally avoid , only give it one star as the chips were ok .

Booked for 8, wanted a Parma and my wife fish. None left! Then went for the chicken curry, beautiful chicken but curry?? Definitely not curry? Wife had a very expensive steak, was well cooked again but small and limited greens. Small portions nicely presented and a very bad experience to be honest. Disappointing after so long

Went with a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea. Food was nice (chips were amazing) but place was a bit grubby with dirty windowsills and crisp crumbs still on the chairs (presume from the Friday night before) the toilets themselves were clean but toilet paper, tissues and rubbish on the floor in the stall and by the sinks. The milk jug for the tea was dirty and replaced with another dirty one... bit disappointing

Lovely afternoon tea to start the celebrations for my 60th Birthday. Staff were all very friendly and very attentive. Hope to go back for Sunday lunch soon. Thank you. Xx

Nice tea rooms with simple homemade cakes in a balanced afternoon tea that wasn't too sweet. (Vegetarian friendly as well) Worth a visit
