The Staplyton Restaurant in Middlesbrough

If its a Sunday lunch your after then I cannot recommend the Stap highly enough. The food is tremendous. The staff are absolutely brilliant. I haven't had many of the other meals, but if Sundays are anything to go by, get your selves in there. I had my first pint of double maxim in there many moons ago to nany moons and summers to mention lol.They still serve it and its a brilliant pint.Michelle, what can I say dead gobby brilliant personality and very polite and professional. Mind you I sad Gobby, that's probably just with me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Quality of food and choices, staff, prices, cleanliness and speed were absolutely out if this world! Definitely 5* and would even say if the scale went higher they would get top marks still. Perfect for me and my family, such a perfect pub and that's very hard to find but every box was ticked and that's the best!

Lovely meals, fish and curry very good value for money and there were daily 'deals' on offer. Great service from all staff. We sat in the conservatory (before everyone jumps down my throat yes we could have sat somewhere else but this is a very popular pub and you sit wherever you can) the only downside was no blinds to shade from the sun. (i was fine my back was to it! it was an issue for others moving seats etc) we visited in Feb 2022 so might be more of an issue in summer months. Looking forward to a return visit.

Very busy when we went but staff helpful. Wheelchair access a bit tricky but not too bad. Food great. Real ale choice unimaginative but beer good.

Just took my dad here for the first time. We both got the beef & ale pie & I had the chocolate brownie sundae from the specials menu - everything was so delicious & arrived in good time. Staff were incredibly friendly, we were served by Sue & Michelle. A special thank you to Michelle for being so helpful in finding us a great table & helping with dessert options! Will definitely be back :-) x

A party of five adults, two children and an infant. Had lunch today. Food was so tasty, very hot and fresh not pinged in the microwave. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely make it our local from now on.

Came in today, lovely food and staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would recommend to anyone and would also come again! Waitress named courtney was attentive and a really lovely member of staff.
