Wok King Chinese in Middlesbrough

(Photo 1 - crispy sea weed with a hair)(Photo 2 - crispy (soggy) shredded beef)Terrible Chinese, away working up north for 7 days and fancied a Chinese one evening, in my crispy sea weed there was a long black curly hair. Disgusting!Also the CRISPY shredded beef was horrific, at most places it is CRISPY but at this place it was just soggy and drowned in liquid, they just looked like battered maggots to be perfectly honest with you. Not enjoyable at all, couldn’t even eat the rest of my food.The duck spring rolls were okay, but again. Soggy.

Great Chinese. Food is tasty, fresh and cooked quickly.Update: This is our regular Chinese takeaway, they are consistently amazing. Really good food, service with a smile and great choice.Our usual is simple, a prawn egg Foo young, house special fried rice, chips and gravy. (The gravy is superb!)

Havent had a Chinese from here for a while but throughly enjoyed it nice and hot, tasty, friendly

Amazing service... less than 30 minutes from ordering to delivery. Ordered 2 special chowmeins and salt and pepper ribs, got extra chillies on one chowmein and it was lovely. Well done Wok King 🤴

Lovely staff and nice big portions, I love the chicken balls and the chips are nice and crispy.

Singapore style rice suppose to be hot and spicy as states on the menu absolutely taste less tasted like you had a spoonful of salt in your mouth, mushroom egg fu was grey in colour and tasted of salt. Rang to complain and didn't seem bothered wouldn't let you get a word in as they over talked me on the phone. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN! Lucky they got the one star because food was disgusting.

Not good at all, ordered on wednesday night, rice greasy, special spring rolls Very Greasy, salt & pepped chicken Very Dry, Special curry like a block, curry wasn't sauce, just a clump, never again

used to be our regular , but not now the prices have increased as well as removing rice and chips from being included so a further price increase making them way too expensive and much cheaper options locally

Asked for beef in black bean sauce with boiled rice, asked the lady twice to make sure the vegetables, chunky green peppers, onions, carrots and 2 quarter mushrooms, to be cooked much longer than last time as they raw. This time it comes exactly the same although without any mushrooms at all. It was like they cut and put raw vegetables at the bottom and poured a watery sauce all over the top. Tasty but not what I asked for again. Will be eating elsewhere
