Disappointing would be sugar coating I have just been served and charged for an inedible meal of prawn and ginger which is full of chill should come with a public health warning, not anything like the description no sugar snap peas , hardly any bean sprouts. The sourdough is cheap sliced bread, ciabatta is not ciabatta, chicken burger is soggy, chips and onion rings are burnt and to top if off the place was so cold and smell of off fish they were served on another table made me feel sick. Given a free coffee but charged full price for three meals.

Such a pleasure setting up a wedding here today, lovely, friendly staff, working hard to make the wedding couple's day perfect.

We have just spent a great weekend as wedding guests here and I could not fault the venue. We stayed as family (10) in the largest of the lodges (Freda) and it was roomy, spotless and had everything we could need along with a hot tub. The wedding venue itself though small was set up perfectly for the ceremony and guests. The meal was spot on and staff warm and welcoming. The bar in the evening was well staffed with a good choice of beers, wines spirits and cocktails. We had a lovely breakfast in the Bustro the following morning. For a smallish venue it packed a big punch. Thank you.

Lovely external landscaped, featured set out, improves on each visit. However the Dining Area has declined dramatically, it has ceased to be an atmospheric waitered controlled resteraunt to a walk through cafe. Food choice ok.

Went to spa first for a 1st rate hot stones massage then into the bistro for lunch... Excellent seafood pancakes and croque monseir. Delicious. Very good service. Back soon.

Went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch, was bought for my wife's birthday. Oh my word it was delicious, especially the aero cheesecake. The black sheep ale was one of the nicest pints I have ever had.

Had a wonderful lunch with the family. The staff were on point and the food was amazing! Having owned restaurants and family been in the industry for years we all had a wonderful time and will make this our family meet up place in future.

Absolutely love this place , second time around and again we were super impressed. Cabin was nice and warm on arrival, robes and slippers provided, towels to. Fridge was stocked with ice cubes and water. The hot tub was lush tad small but that's because we stayed in the 2 bedroom before so had a bigger tub. The only negative was I'd love the outside to be a bit more private. We were opposite the entrance so everyone could see inside the lodge and outside space when the gate was left open by other residents (maybe some fencing of some kind is needed). We always recommend a stay here to our friends and family.
