I'm getting sick and tired of writting good reviews about this place, but what can i do.Yet another great meal from acorn chop suey, salt and pepper spare ribs, house special chow mien, chips and a pot of curry sauce. Good portions, well packaged so stays hot. Friendly staff, corvid safe.All in 10 mins at a very respectable £17.20. Plenty for 2 people total bargin. Always go to bed full.... ha ha. Thumbs up👍👍👏👏😎

The most delicious salt and pepper chips me and my friend have ever had!We would consider living there .... I have never been so speechless by chips before .... go here .... or never face chips like this again..... I love the acorn.... and I will always stand by this !

I know the history of this place going back over 20 years. Therefore I know that it has only changed hands once in over two decades and that was relatively recently. I'm glad to report that the quality has not deteriorated, as do so many takeaways when they change owners. You get used to your favourite dish and the new guy changes it! How dare they! This is a Chinese takeaway a Chinese person would go to.

Disappointed... I ordered my meal then I was informed “Cash only”... nearby Cash machine not working had to drive further afield for another Cash Machine ... .. when two meals cost over £20.00 there has to be enough profit in that transaction for any small fee charged by a Card Company ... or are there other reasons for requesting Cash only ... I will not use this Takeaway again ...

Good portion sized food and absolutely worth for the price you pay! Food piping hot and fresh. The lunch deal is to die for if you're craving for nice Chinese and live close by. For us it's just a minute walk and we absolutely adore this gem.

Friendly service. Always had good hot food. Not a la carte but what takeaway is. And by the way, the comment that they don't do tofu, get a life.
