Had Sunday brunch. Ordered veg cooked breakfast. They missed the haloumi + 1 slice of bread was way too little. Also if you want sourdough you get charged an extra pound. coffee was nice. Overall however very disappointed

No vegan options on the menu, which was disappointing, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me and adapt their dishes. They did have a vegan cake and soya and oat milk. Lovely place, great atmosphere and good service.

Food was certainly nice enough.Unfortunately two of the younger staff tho pleasant and efficient were wearing masks, never over their noses, which is distasteful and pointless in these times.Beer flat out of bottles tends to mean glasses need renovating, replaced or just a good hot wash, cold rinse. Nothing that can't have a quick fix by the owner's.Wish them well.

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Staff welcoming and friendly. Fabulous food, had Arlo's open sandwich, really tasty and filling. Followed it with chocolate cake, wow definitely not for the faint hearted, gorgeous I just couldn't stop until it was gone. Premises are user friendly as on one level, well worth a visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner or simply a coffee and cake

Great place. Everything just seems quality,Not the cheapest, but then nothing good is.Well decorated, nice staff, and the food was great.Would be 5 stars if I could have had a free refill of filter coffee . . .lesser places offer it and it just seems a tad cheap not to offer (just one).Minor point, but too many places offer it now so it is a small irritant .Could be part of the plan mind........I'd finished my first one before the food arrived so had to spend another £3.20 on another one!As I say, small point. Don't let it put you off

Delicious food, excellent service with friendly, attentive staff. Good music and eclectic surroundings. I've been many a time and can't recommend it enough.The menu does change but it is consistently tasty. Fabulous independent eatery!

Eclectic menu, but don't let that put you off. We all had a different dish and each one was beautiful. Staff were great, and you need to try the smoked whiskey if you like that type of thing. Great theatre..if only to see how excited the manager was to use his new toy 😂

One of the best spots in Jesmond! Delicious food, cakes always excellent and fresh. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and the new outdoor area at the back is a great addition to!
