Aveika in Newcastle upon Tyne

One of the most amazing places I've ever been to in Newcastle. Highly recommend. Place is Halal, clean, full of vibrant atmosphere. If you've never been here is a must. Not expensive either. The menu is vast and lots to choose from. They have dozens of staff and they check up on you regularly. If I go back to Newcastle - this is a place I will revisit.

It was a fab night. Staff are really friendly and super nice the food was awesome. I had teriyaki chicken robata defo recommend. Definitely go back. Ice cream is so delicious.

Atmosphere good, ambience good but noisy. Starters okay.To be fair, presentation of main courses looked good, however, main courses overcooked and lukewarm at the best. Steamed rice pretty much cold. When mentioned to waitress she said she knew. She offered to have it warmed up but dried chicken warmed up is going to be even drier!Wine chosen not in stock. Alternative wine not in stock either.For the price pretty disappointing.

The ambiance was super lovely and cozy.It's prebooked, I think you have to book ahead and there is a charge for cancelation if it's not done on time.The staff was all nice and prompt.The food was yummyThe toilet facility was greatI love the drinks as wellI would say the price is relatively okay 👍🏽

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who lived or was coming up here. The food and service was very good.

Place is nice, staff are very nice - food was okay, some of it was really good. However in this occasion they had a lot of issues with the orders being mixed up/getting the right dish out.But on another day it's probably a 4/5 star

Starters: chicken wings 2/5 and beef tacos 4/5 and got the chicken Katsu curry which was amazing. Mocktails were good too.I enjoyed the music and lighting.

Quality of food has gone downhill. Chicken Teriyaki sauce was burnt. No 241 cocktails anymore and no meat Thai curries on the 2 / 3 course meal deal. V disappointed as it has been much better in the past.

Food was really enjoyable, something different i guess. The atmosphere is really nice in the evening (during covid time) the staff are friendly, mocktails are good, one think i loved was the chef peeking over to ensure people enjoyed his food. PS halal food ( when looking for halal i always ensure the place does not use alcohol when cooking and does not serve pork)

Tried here for drinks & food with friends, great friendly service from Natalie the lovely & polite young greek waitress, a real credit to your business, she couldn’t do enough for usFood was excellent, really really tasty and portion sizes were good too, price was very reasonable, would highly recommend this restaurant & bar
