Absolutely lush food. Gastro British menu but done really really well. Nice surroundings and staff were very attentive and professional. Will definitely be back!

Staff quite abrupt as no one on entrance so we went to next level only to be told off. We asked for table of four for food and drink. Took us outside and offered seat that had rain running down awning into overflowing wine bucket. I asked to sit elsewhere. Waited at least twenty minutes for drinks. So decided to drink up and leave .

Recently visited Newcastle and found this fabulous place enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch staff are so polite and definitely work as a team.Infact we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so muchWe came back the next day. And everything was tip top and enjoyable again. We would definitely make a third visit if we are in Newcastle again.

Lovely atmosphere and comfy seating. Food was well presented and tasty, (although my main course wasn't what I'd ordered, but what I was brought was fine), and staff friendly. However, I was given a dirty glass with lipstick, and was served by staff with excessive jewellery/facial piercings and ridiculously long, false, painted nails which obviously hindered her ability to do the job.

Nice outside eating area. I had Sunday meal of roast pork. It was inedible, even the steak knife had trouble cutting it. Nothing happened when I complained to the waitress. I should have been more forthright about it!
