Barluga in Newcastle upon Tyne

Went for a works meal, took hours to serve us. Numerous people came to take the order multiple times, waited nearly 2 hours for food and it was average at best. If your face fits it looks like they serve you faster. Couldn't walk off because they take your money first.

Lunch and cocktails for my birthday, sunny day the terrace was a good choice, service very good, need plenty money if you are staying awhile, we were there 7 hours 😃😃

I had my 40th birthday party on the terrace and had a brilliant night. The staff were great and kept all the drinks well topped up and food was good. Venue was perfect for the occasion. Thank you

We had a lovely meal and the service was brilliant. The young man on the door and the young ladies who served us were so pleasant. We had sweet chilli beef and garlic prawns for starters. For mains the seabass and curry.The sticky toffee pudding and the mini sweet with espresso was delicious but we were half way through before I realised I had not taken a photo. The whole experience was spot on!

Wasn't sure on the staff at first as they didn't greet us when we first arrived on the roof terrace, but we soon found them to be friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent although a little bit slow between courses, however that was fine with us as we were there for a leisurely lunch with drinks as well.

Bar luga terrace is great,great food great cocktails just service especially drinks is always slow but we always go when there from Cumbria it's very good.

Nice place for a drink. Awful food and customer service. Eventually, bill was reduced. Would never eat there again. Petson who dealt with bill reduction, eventually admitted they had issues with the kitchen.

This is a lovely bar for chilling out, the rear roof terrace is beautiful, lovely staff and good wine didn't eat but the food looked good will try next time.

Recently visited Newcastle and found this fabulous place enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch staff are so polite and definitely work as a team.Infact we enjoyed the food and atmosphere so muchWe came back the next day. And everything was tip top and enjoyable again. We would definitely make a third visit if we are in Newcastle again.
