What an incredible restaurant Branches is. Visited last week with my partner and we were both blown away with both the food and the service.By far some of the best food I've eaten! I had the pan roasted garlic prawns to start which were cooked to perfection and the focaccia underneath it was fantastic.For my main I had slow cooked black belly pork which absolutely melted in my mouth, the crackling was sublime, and everything else on the plate worked perfectly with the dish.Every member of staff greets you with a smile and the fella on front of house duties is a credit to your team, sadly I didn't catch his name!The venue itself is dressed incredibly well and the tree in the middle of the restaurant is a great touch.Will definitely be returning, probably with more family members in tow!

Love Branches, their a la carte menu is fab but have always fancied the Sunday lunch as the social media posts look so appealing. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious, plenty of it , combination of flavours was gorgeous, total respect and compliments to the chef. Its the whole experience that makes the restaurant so good, ambiance , decor but also 100% staff and service, friendly, attentive without being over the top, just right. Cant wait to go back.

What a fantastic experience. The staff were excellent and the food was truly phenomenal. I haven't had an experience this good in Newcastle for a very long time. Could not recommend this more. (The king prawn & chorizo starter was a real highlight, and the french martini was the best I've ever had!)

Could not have chosen a better venue for our family to celebrate my sisters 18th. Our private room for 15 was perfect, food was delicious and service was brilliant - especially Stephanie who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after.Every part of the day was immaculate, thank you Branches! We’ll all be back.

I am so glad my husband and I discovered this restaurant while on holiday in Newcastle.Luckily, it was right next to our hotel. The atmosphere was romantic and the interiors were very elegant.Every dish was delicious and presented artistically. Even the bread served with butter and salt with crushed peppercorns was so good.So was their soup of the day. The highlight for me was the salmon and seafood dish. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips too.We were even given some complimentary fish cakes which were delightful.For a fine dining restaurant, it was reasonably priced. Their staff were very attentive as well.We’d love to come back the next time we visit Newcastle.

Me and girlfriend came down for a dinner on Wednesday evening. The greeting was professional, welcoming and just amazing. The staff were overall amazing and did a beautiful job on every occasion!The decor was welcoming, warming and pleasant. We were served by an amazing waitress (Eve/Eva - long blonde hair) her service deserves a raise!!!! She made sure that we had everything and that our food came on time! She made our night a memorable one by taking pictures and just going above and beyond!The food was exquisite and well priced. Presentation and quality was out of this world! The chef's little surprise and the bread was lovely, an amazing addition! Shout out to the chefs!I recommend branches for anyone for any occasion whether it's family or romantic occasions.Thank you once again!

This restaurant is absolutely stunning inside and out. They have taken pride in the appearance of the restaurant and the staff representing them.Upon arrival, we were greeted by such a lovely team who showed us to our table. Our jaws dropped when we saw how beautifully decorated the restaurant was and all we could say was “wow!”. We were then greeted by our waitress Sophie. Sophie is by far the nicest, friendliest, most enthusiastic waitress I’ve ever met in my life! She’s SO happy all the time and always made us giggle! She’s a valuable asset to your restaurant and a representation of your business in every aspect. What a bundle of joy! Thank you for your amazing hospitality Sophie and your fantastic menu recommendations (especially those fries!).The drinks were absolutely delicious, the food was so beautifully presented and tasted exquisite. The flavours were so aromatic and tasteful, the chefs are very talented and the menu choices are amazing!! The food came in a timely manner and did not disappoint. We were given some freebies as tasters in between our meals which were SO DELICIOUS and very much appreciated (lovely added touch of service). Sadly we filled up so much we couldn’t try dessert.Overall, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough and I will definitely be going back when I’m next in Newcastle.

Would love to go back!Parking was easy around the corner from the restaurant. All the staff were so attentive and looking out for our needs. Glasses were kept full and we were regularly offered new orders for drinks also.I had the mussels for starter which was really delicious (forgot to take a photo)Creamy sauce and fresh mussels as well as warm fresh bread - yummy.I had the seabass for main. The fish was cooked really well and maybe it’s just my taste but I didn’t really enjoy the tomatoes which went with it...that was a little lacking in seasoning.Everyone else’s mains was delicious, all the meat was super tender (lamb and chicken in the photos.)We had a slight issue at a certain point in the meal but it was quickly resolved by the helpful manager and was really appreciated.I’d happily go back and spend money here again!
