Brinkburn St Brewery Bar & Kitchen in Newcastle upon Tyne

First time we’ve been in here for a meal. The menu is quite burger based but there are other things like small plates and fish and chips.Saying all that though, the burger I had, The Reuben, was absolutely fantastic. Really well cooked and very tasty. Great home cooed chips, and all really freshly cooked.The beer/lager selection is all from the local brewery so no generic brands in here.This place is definitely worth a stop for a meal or just a couple of pints if you are out and around the Ouesburn.

Our first visit to Brinkburn Street Brewery today......and what a revelation!!! Superb craft ales and beers served to you by passionate and knowledgeable hosts, the entire place has the aura of a ginormous family living room, filled with love, pride and joy. A delicious experience, one we are eager to repeat. If you haven't visited this jewel in the beer magicians fellowship yet, why not?? Great food, fabulous beer … but the real stars of this show are the staff. A table for 6 was organised within seconds of us arriving on a busy bank holiday, without a reservation. Nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were hard working and good humoured - special mention goes to the manager, whom I watched manage an obnoxious drunk with grace and professionalism… she deserved a medal!

Had a great Sunday lunch here with friends. Nice atmosphere and really good customer service . I had the vegetarian nut roast which was delicious. Good value for money .

Lovely place, my only down fall was got told our table was booked! It didn't have anything on the table to say it was booked and was still drinking my drinks!, Best ask what tables you can sit at when you arrive!I was even being served when the server stopped listening to me to take payment for someone that just walked up picked up two packets of crisps!But nice fresh beers, looks like nice fresh food.

First time here and I can honestly say I will definitely be returning.Today my birthday after a long day working. My colleagues recommended this place. We had a drink and food. It’s lovely. Stuff in bar a young man to friendly. He offered me for birthday half pint beer. I think one most nicer thing I getting.I can’t waiting to back again.

Came here last night & in comparison to the other times we’ve been, very disappointed.£62 on food. The portion of fish was ridiculously small, £10 on 3 tacos with no sides? Quality of the food nowhere near as good either.Choice of drinks, great as always.What got us most was how rude and arrogant the staff were. We took our child, my partner went to ask the staff where we could find the key for the baby changing room. All she got as a response, “at the bar, I’m too busy to get it for you.” Even the guy at the bar when I was asking if I could get a dash of lemonade in a beer, his answer, “I suppose so” with a shrug of the shoulders. No need to be rude to paying customers. In comparison to the service level of its neighbours like Kiln, they’re way behind.Brinkburn has lost its spark slightly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Amazing food, value for money is really good, mostly a bit heavy and big portions if you’re looking for something lighter but tastes great. Atmosphere is also quite authentic and staff is nice. Drinks, cocktails specifically, are one of the best cocktails in town in my opinion. Really great place overall

The place has a pleasant atmosphere and the music was nice and chilled when I visited on a Sunday afternoon. They do a good selection of ales and I enjoyed the Byker Brown Ale. I wasn't blown away by the food though I only tried a couple of small plates, the brisket croquettes were interesting though could have done with more meat in them. A nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon after a walk by the river.

This place has got a great vibe about it. Amazing food and a cracking selection of drinks. Had the sociy sauce topped fries along with a pint of Ford St and a half of IPA
