Great food but be prepared to wait if you haven't prepaid

Visited for the first time last weekend as just moved to the area. I was impressedWe had Lamb Biryani (superb, fragrant with very tender lamb), Keema Naan (very good indeed) and samosas (very disappointing as not crispy and lacked flavour). Staff are very pleasant and I will definitely be a regular customer.

The dish I ordered was a different colour to its usual shade & was blander.It was however,the rude delivery driver that was the biggest bugbear.Not content with the £20 note I had given him,I was told his boss wouldn't accept older (not shiny) notes so I trundled back up stairs- bearing in mind that I am disabled & gave him a shiny £20 note.But oh dear,he didn't even have enough change for me.I know this is a ploy to get more money out of me.Anyway,3 hours later heard silver & coppers posted through my letterbox Obviously my change thrown through letterbox.Rude.Why do delivery drivers s put cold can in same bag as hot food? No brain that's what

Excellent dishes, really good for vegetarians and vegans!! Fantastic service and a great local business to support.

A reliable, decent local indian. It's not gonna change your world, but I've never had a bad experience.

Having had an insipid meal, for the first time, admittedly, from another local place, I decided to try Brunton Park. One of my yardsticks on whether the place does food to my liking, is their take on Onion Bhajis.Well, my heart sank on biting into Brunton's version. Not crispy and stodgy inside. What had I let myself in for?My choice of Lamb Shashlik with Rogan sauce and Special Fried Rice, on the other hand, was inspired. The lamb had loads of flavour being chargrilled. Best lamb meal ever - well done Brunton. I will return for more but can't take the risk again with the O B's, what a shame.

Never leave review but I had to first time tried this place and sorry be the last never had such a tasteless watery curry in life was that bad had to bin the whole lot the water what came at the bottom of the curry was water either frozen and defrosted then served but havnt experienced a curry with absolutely no taste at all very disappointing had to order elsewhere as my daughter was so looking forward to it she is young as she said she didnt like it either didnt ring up as I wouldn't want a replacement as wouldn't eat again from there had better curry out of a tin for £1.29 and woke up with itchy swollen lip and that's all I tried that day as couldn't eat the other one I ordered for the family from another place maybe coincidence but had some type reaction from this food from this place

Totally disappointed food arrived cold and starter missing when they brought it was cold and dry it went in the bin will not be using again.

Great food and good value. One of the best takeaways I've come across. Only fears for my waistline stop me ordering more frequently.
