An impromptu visit on the way from High Force waterfall back to Redcar. Spotted the nicely decorated restaurant as we were driving through Wolsingham. Plenty of space as it was early evening. Attentive staff. Good food. Great price.

Lovely meal tonight. First time we’ve visited this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had scallops, cannelloni and homemade tiramisu for dessert. Each course was delicious and I wasn’t disappointed. We look forward to a return visit.

I CANNOT say that enough!Brilliant staff, very friendly and professional and welcoming.Arrived without a reservation, no problem.Seated by the windows, good specials on the board.Goats cheese starter literally oozed deliciousness! Almost like a foam. Awesome.I had the fillet steak, honestly.... this was the best steak I ever had. Melted in the mouth. Blue cheese sauce, delicious. Chips nice, crispy and with rosemary. Amazing.My girl had crepes fiorentine? Again... delicious!! Piping hot with loads of flavour!Honestly... Treat yourself. Treat your family!

Had an awful experience there. Certainly wouldn't recommend it. Asked for a shandy so they brought a little bottle of moretti and a half pint glass of lemonade, they must of expected me to have a mouthful of each and mix it in my mouth, that was nearly £7, had to wait 20 minutes to even order food then waited about the same to get the starter, which I ordered the mushrooms with sauce, when that came there was a lump of soggy bread in the bowl and a few mushrooms, then we waited a further 40 minutes for our main which I got a fillet steak that I'm pretty sure wasn't fillet as it had like a horrible liver taste and then for the owner to say maybe it was me and not the food, waste of £73 pound and certainly won't be back.

Lovely friendly Italian restaurant. Mussels to start. The best lasagne I've ever tasted. My son had a gorgeous authentic pizza.

Fabulous food, great service, lovely setting. It was a 40 minute drive up Weardale on a grey, wet afternoon for us to get there but it was well worth it. We'll definitely be back.
