Cafe Spice in Newcastle upon Tyne

I have always used cafe spice and meals were delicious ive just spent £18.65p and the whole meal was disgusting 😩..tye mushroom pilau has changed to big brown ones that are awful the chicken tikka was so tough it would break your teeth hardly chew it only had 2 pieces the sauce had no tomatoes and was disgusting to eat so drythe chips were freezing Cold the naan bread had no keema meat inside or garlic as supposed to be i have just thrown it all out for the birds if they even want it will never go back again the whole meal was absolutely disgusting and couldn't even attempt to eat any of it..Please go elsewhere the meal was disgusting and a waste of all that money Nd arrives 45 minutes earlier than said came came at 5..30pm was supposed be 6.15pm I wouldn't recommend this to a dog that would probably turn its nose up at it im furious as was very hungry and a meal wasted and so much money to go outside it won't be getting my money again I should have complained and then made them take it back but no credit on my phone paid on my card or I would have said pick this disgusting thing back up i can't eat that only fit for the garbage don't use them you will waste your money if you do Absolutely rotten to the core furious isn't the word your food is disgusting dont use this restaurant or you will be as angry as I am

Fantastic food and excellent service from the friendly staff after we walked in without booking. It was Happy Hour and all our food was tasty and good value. Would definitely recommend.

Not sure about other food items here but Biryani was big let down. The rice just had colors added but no spices and not even salt. Never had such a tasteless biryani.

After trying out a few Indian restaurants in Newcastle, I decided to try out Cafe Spice from a recommendation.Safe to say I was not disappointed. Excellent customer service and food was exceptional. By far the best restaurant in Newcastle. Special shout out to Raf the owner, he made us feel very special and welcome.

I've tried most Indian take aways in the Heaton area and this one is the best.

Fantastic Chana masala with plenty of veg. Lentil dhansak was a bit on the hot side.Great vegetable/vegan options as above. Meat eaters were disappointed with sugary/bland korma and chicken tikka. Another excuse to go vegan:)

Delicious food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The mango chutney is very moreish.

10/10 food and table service. I really feel like I got what I paid for, the portions were pretty large and the food was very well made

I was out with my wife on Saturday night and we decided at the last minute to try get a curry, we tried one elsewhere ill not name the place but trust me i won't ever set foot in there again, filthy cold and just uninviting! So we took the long walk to Cafe Spice and it was more than worth it, the lads where more than happy to seat us even though it was after 10pm, lovely and accommodating! Food was excellent, hot and very tasty absolutely no faults at all! Thank you so much lads for allowing us in late Saturday night and being so professional and curtious, your food and service is second to none.

Very good ambience and food is up to the mark. Also presentation of the food was amazing
