Chicken Shack in Newcastle upon Tyne

The chips are good and they give you a good portion aswell. The chicken is very bad. Definitely not worth the calories.

Proper decent scran, good choice for lunch. Chicken burgers are filling and nicely flavoured, lovely crispy chicken. Price is pretty good, I've always had pretty fast service. The benches where you can eat in are always clean and tidy. Lovely chips, but i think the recipe has been changed recently; I preferred them before, but my boyfriend is a big fan of the new chips too, so theyre still decent. Recommend this place if you want some good priced lunch :)

Perfect Friday lunch food.

I like the fact that there is loads of options, but there is always a long queue with very little staff (3-4)at lunchtimes. Meaning it takes ~20 mins to get served. On top of that you aren't allowed to sit in (takeaway only) at lunch time.I always order the spicy bean burger meal (burger, fries and a drink) which is always good.
