Very slow service at bar part frome that Very good 👍

We came for lunch today with my 2 year old granddaughter, while I can’t fault the food, it was lovely and reasonably priced. The service wasn’t good, girls were very polite and friendly but the wait was appalling, thankfully my granddaughter is well behaved and accepted my explanation about how long we waited. A child’s scoop of ice cream took over half an hour to bring to the table felt like going into the kitchen and sorting this myself. However we will be back and see what the second experience will be. Maybe a very bad staffing day. Such a shame!

We have been to the Corner House 3 times in the last 4 weeks and love the Oldies menu, really good value, we've taken our 9 month old Granddaughter and our little dog, love the friendly dog pub. The reason I've only given them a 4 is the very dated 1940's style toilets, the disabled one with the baby changing isn't the best, I couldn't put her on the floor so I could go to the toilet as the floor was wet from a leaking radiator. These weren't updated when the hotel was.

Great food and amazing service!One member of staff, I think her name was Sarah, was particularly helpful and even helped carry drinks to my table.Will definitely be coming back soon

Here with my husband and son. Ordered lasagne looked like it had been through the wars no garlic bread arrived. My son ordered fish and chips fish looked like a scorpion it was curled up that much but he enjoyed it. Food was OK and good value I suppose.

This pub has changed a lot since I was last in and looks really good, it's just a pity the smell from the toilets greet you first. Big menu which is standard pub grub but thoroughly enjoyed

Very well situated just outside the centre of Newcastle on a major crossroads. Parking is excellent and the food and service is superb. They’re owned by Greene King so standards are high.

Went for tea tonight with family, waited over an hour for our food, when it came had items missing the hunters chicken was supposed to be on Sizzlers and came on normal plates minus fried onions and BBQ sauce the meal wasn't very hot. The cheeseburger came minus the cheese. We did tell the waitress and she did go and get the missing items and was apologetic. Then to top it all off we went to order desserts to be told that they weren't serving them due to other people waiting for food. Absolute disgrace!!! I would not normally complain as I'm not that type of person but I was disgusted, disappointed and felt I had to say something.
