❗️FOOD POISONING❗️DO NOT go here. After getting a sandwich from this place I developed severe food poisoning that lasted for several days. The food was prepared without gloves and the surfaces were extremely unclean. On top of this the food must not have been kept properly and became bacteria infested. The sandwich was not worth it and could have made a much better one myself. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Lovely place. We popped in on our lunch break today and I stood outside with our Labrador who has a tendency to bark sometimes. The lady behind the counter noticed us stood outside and told my husband that she welcomed dogs and we could come in, he explained that she has a tendency to bark but the lady insisted. It was a lovely atmosphere inside, the lady asked if she could give our dog some chicken (she loves chicken) She came round the side of the counter to give her it. I thought that was really nice of her and our Lab appreciated the treat! The food we ordered was lovely and very filling. If we are ever in the area again we will defo be returning :D thank you x

Lovely little place for lunch, good prices and excellent service. We were always attended to, to make sure we were happy and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!

A huge range of sandwiches, including gluten free goodies galore, including the most amazing gluten and dairy free ice cream I've ever had. Staff are also lush and super helpful and it's even dog friendly. There's a reason why people have been coming back to the Country Whey for over fifty years!

Recently visited this place and I must say that I was most impressed. Lovely selection of snacks, cakes and coffees. Very polite and friendly service as well most welcoming!
