After not being able to come for so long I returned to try a new menu of delicious drinks. Any gin with Nordic blue tonic is a must try, especially 48 it's like a tropical dream! The food smelled so amazing we must come back for more.

Nice little Gin bar with a wide selection of drinks as well as some Tapas. Ideal place for Gin fanatics. Staff are friendly and approachable wearing a smile on their faces at all times. Highly recommend, there's something for everyone!

Amazing restaurant, which was recommended to us by friends. We opted for the 2 course meal, superb value of £22. We ordered the pate off the Al a carte menu as an extra and Spanish onion soup for starters along with fillet steak (£6 extra) and chicken for mains. Followed by clementine cheese cake. Delicious 😊 Best pate and fillet steak ever, which is some accolade as I have dined at the finest of cuisines. Excellent waiter service. Highly recommended as its a little gem!

Great bar with an excellent range of gins (although not so many whiskies). Friendly and knowledgeable staff, more than happy to give recommendations. Cosy and pleasant atmosphere, a bit quieter than some of the other options. Have been a few times now and will certainly continue to go back.

We absolutely love going to Decantus! The atmosphere is fantastic, staff are brilliant and the drinks are delicious! It is always our go to after dinner when we are out in Newcastle! 👍🙂

Been here a couple of times. The customer service is impeccable and consistent, they have a great tapas selection and an almost endless selection of gins. Really reasonably priced considering where they are based, great ambiance. I'm glad independent gems like this have survived the pandemic.

Lovely little place! Please 🙏 if you know some Spanish and want a little practice go thank the chef for your food (which is divine), you'll be rewarded with a happy little man with a happy tale to tell. You'll find yourself going back to decantus time and time again... In the quiet times for the atmosphere and the impressive cocktail list.

Amazing Gin bar! Good atmosphere and reasonably priced. Over 300 gins, the barmen/women are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. If they aren't too busy and you're sat at the bar they occasionally offer you some tapas for free with your drinks. Really nice touch. Haven't sat in for a meal yet but would like to.
