Eastern Meadow in Newcastle upon Tyne

I went with the reviews for a takeaway, as it seemed amazing taste, I can't say we got that when we ate it, full of grease and very heavy on the stomach and I'm usually ok with foods but this didn't hit the spot for us, but I'm glad we've tried it now.

Good people good food and portions

I've had to amend this review, sadly the quality of the meals I've ordered on the last few occasions have deteriorated, they've drastically reduced the amount & quality of the meat in their dishes.

Little bit pricey but food was nice as it has been before the odd time i call in when I'm in the area

Probably the best restaurant in Newcastle 👍 I ran out of superlatives!!! My wife and I have never eaten finer!!!!! They made our anniversary!!! The sefvice is fantastic really got on with our waitress who was attentive though not obtrusive as were her colleagues. The food is beyond description the chef even ran out of words!! The uncooked steak pie!!! Was a deconstruct based on steak tartare but OMG what a starter the pastry tuille on top hid the stunning level of flavour that means clearly every steak I have had was seriously overcooked. The wife's kipper was just amazing the flavours out or this world. The food is just a Turner on a plate the art and design would have titian envious because the flavour takes it to a whole new level. I can not recommended this restaurant highly enough 5,stars are not enough

Simply the best.The most wonderful Chinese I ever had. The char Sui melts in the mouth totally beautiful.I don't live local but will be happy to to undertake 20 mile round trip for this place.

Proper banging. Best Chinese takeaway in Newcastle hands down.I've sampled quite a few items from the menu and have never been disappointed. You can't go wrong!So much flavour packed into each dish.Good quality prawn crackers.Reasonably priced, also only £1.50 delivery.All items come in a plastic takeaway boxes so you've got no chance of a spillage. One of the best Chinese takeaways we have ever had. Consistently good food, we even dive past many other takeaways just to get to Eastern Meadow. Definitely recommend the food from here.
