Golden House in Newcastle upon Tyne

This is by far our favourite Chinese takeaway in Newcastle. Had all sorts from there and food is lush. Staff are great and very appreciative of a couple quid tip.

This is by far the best Chinese take away in the North East. Being in throckley it could be seen as a hidden gem that not many people know about but they have the most delicious Chinese food of any Chinese take away I have tried. The quality of the food is always consistent so you know you'll get amazing food every time. Highly recommend this place as there's nowhere else as good as this!

Excellent food, never had a bad meal yet, tried Thai curry king prawn tonight and it was fantastic. Staff are also very friendly and always happy to help and answer any questions.

They are never prepared to correct an order, staff are rude and put the phone down on you, NEVER go there again absolutely abysmal!

Great staff, excellent quality food, polite and efficient.

Gorgeous food. Staff are nice and friendly too. They won't deliver food very far as they don't want their reputation tarnished by cold food. I admired their honesty!.They are now my chosen Chinese takeaway restaurant

Got a Chinese from here last nyt food nice driver give us a 5 pound note we carnt spend rang the shop to day about it they carnt do everything about what sort of Attitude and customer service is this so from now people plz check your notes of this Delivery service

Enjoying the food.....trying out some new dishes....imoressed

Best Chinese takeaway I've tried in Newcastle. Please do not be disappointed that the house is in fact red not golden. This is my only criticism.

Up there with the worst takeaway meals I've ever ordered. If piles of salt-covered fried food is your thing then you might enjoy it. The dim sum was like rubber. A macdonalds would be a healthier/tastier option. Inedible.
