Best fish & chips in a very long time in fact ever! I drive past fenham fish bar in the morning on way home from my nightshift at the Freeman hospital & always fancied trying it but it's not really near me however I made an effort to go & so pleased I did. Totally excellent in every way wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Simply the best...Not much else really to say.Best Chippy in the North East in my opinion.My personal favourite, Jumbo Battered Sausage, Chips, Bread Bun & Tartar Sauce washed down with A Can of Irn Bru.Give it a go! It's a Winner.

Fantastic food in the area, the Sweet Chili Prawns are worth travelling for. Huge portions and a massive shout out to the incredibly friendly staff who work very hard.

Oh my days, whale and masses of chips. We bought fish and chips twice, could've done with sharing just one. FAB-U-LOUS, we would highly recommend buying here.

The Best Fish and chips in the area by far. Love this takeaway, always busy just shows the amount of quality that they use to make their delicious food. I always have the haddock with chips and two lots of mushy peas and tartar sauce as they are super fresh. They usually have a good set of specials also available and if I fancied a change I could be persuaded to get one of them instead. Delivery is available also and is super duper quick 110% recommended!

Usually amazing but I had a bad experience with deliveries, took over an hour to come and the fish tasted funny, even my cat who normally goes crazy for the fish left it! Hopefully it was just a one off but I'll probably just do collection only now
