Where else would you get hot bakery products at midnight well done Greggs .

Lovely place. Glad it's open late on a Friday/Saturday night into the wee small hours. Just wished Gregg's would actually acknowledge this on their website. Attached is a photo showing it open at 11pm for all the doubters

Excellent bacon bun with a cup of tea . Staff quick and cheerful set us up for the day. John & Heather.

Had a sausage roll and hot chocolate. I am certainly making my way round different greggs. I have the same drink and sausage roll in each of them. Always the best hot chocolate and sausage rolls. I have now tried the mince pies and they are the best I have tasted. Found out that they can be frozen, so looks like lovely mince pies for quite a while.

3 stars for friendly staff & food. 2 stars away for eat in table hygiene & Covid measures. An empty cafe might be the best time to clean up properly? Anti Covid gel etc needs to be prominent next to door!!

Clean environment. Quick service. Delicious food. Friendly staff. 10/10 come back every time!

One star. Why you may ask? Because it's not Gregg's chicken bake store. If I wanted a chicken bake I would have gone to a chicken bake store. Thank you.

There is nothing like a bit of Greggs - especially in Newcastle (it's founding city). Decided to takeout from one of the many stores here - and since we were in the North East, they have stotties on the menu - this is what I wanted to go for. It was half of a whole one, but very substantial even so. There were two flavours - cheese & onion or tuna mayo stottie. Very reasonable for £2.55. Could go for anything else on the menu.I have included the rear of the packaging for the Stottie!

So many Greggs in Newcastle! This one is 5 minutes from my hotel and great pit stop for breakfast. Much better value compared to the hotel fare. Friendly staff and very popular with the locals - love the steak bakes and jam donuts.
