Gregg's is Gregg's This one, Opposite the Bigg Market on the corner of the crossroads. What can I say? The value for money is great. The only problem in this store is the loud music in here, Virgin radio with all the interference of white noise because of the output. Why not go digital and turn it down a bit. I wear hearing aids, anyone who is deaf assisted hearing, or hearing impaired, supports by hearing aids will suffer from this the "deaf" get very little assistance from any social aspect of our society. This shrill noise takes control of hearing aids. I have no choice but to listen to rubbish sounding radio. It's not Gregg's fault they are filling the empty space. And it won't put me off. I switch off the aids instead!

Good greggs food, wanted to sit down but all chairs and tables were stacked to one side, ended up sitting on bollard fence outdude

·

Went on match day before before the Newcastle game fast service hot food well run Greggs

I love Gregg's but here the food was quite cold and they can't heat it up. There's no place to sit in. I'm sure it would be fine if it had been a busy time and the food wasn't sitting around. Choose your time for a visit carefully.

Lovely place. Glad it's open late on a Friday/Saturday night into the wee small hours. Just wished Gregg's would actually acknowledge this on their website. Attached is a photo showing it open at 11pm for all the doubters

Had a sausage roll and hot chocolate. I am certainly making my way round different greggs. I have the same drink and sausage roll in each of them. Always the best hot chocolate and sausage rolls. I have now tried the mince pies and they are the best I have tasted. Found out that they can be frozen, so looks like lovely mince pies for quite a while.

There is nothing like a bit of Greggs - especially in Newcastle (it's founding city). Decided to takeout from one of the many stores here - and since we were in the North East, they have stotties on the menu - this is what I wanted to go for. It was half of a whole one, but very substantial even so. There were two flavours - cheese & onion or tuna mayo stottie. Very reasonable for £2.55. Could go for anything else on the menu.I have included the rear of the packaging for the Stottie!

So many Greggs in Newcastle! This one is 5 minutes from my hotel and great pit stop for breakfast. Much better value compared to the hotel fare. Friendly staff and very popular with the locals - love the steak bakes and jam donuts.
