Outdoor area around the rear very pleasant. No kids play area anymore.

They put on fabulous party for us and pulled out all the stops. The place itself is lovely and cosy. Staff and management were fantastic.

Really nice pub with lots of option and a fantastic outdoor seating area, lots of time and effort has clearly been out in to adding value to this area. The staff were also very friendly and funny to chat with!

Been meaning to go in here for years. In laws live up Crawcrook, has been recommended by friends. Lovely olde place. Cosy. Quite, snug. Nice pint. Lovely bait. Well done. Loved it.

Sat in the beer garden and thoroughly enjoyed a glass of Rosè, didn't order anything to eat but had food envy of the next table, their burgers looked fabulous. Will deffo go back.

So me and my partner visited for a nice quite drink, we sat in the nice beer garden only to be accused of very offensive things we were most certainly not doing and i wish not to repeate what we were told by staff in the pub. As we were leaving we were laughed at by grown men and women twice our age which upset my partner as he already deals with anxiety as we were leaving quietly i was called names and told to get out!. I will not reccomend anyone to visit this pub. Such a shame very dissapointed i wouldnt have elgiven it 1 star if i could have.

Brilliant food and excellent pub. Food and staff were brilliant and would definitely recommend. Beer garden at the rear also has a play area for children as well as a decked area with tables. Top marks.

Had a nice meal along with my wife, at a quiet period. It was Steak Night when we went (Tuesdays), two starters, and two steaks (including Sirloin) for £20, which is decent value, and I have to admit, the steaks were really good too. The advert indicates "any starter", but when we ordered, we were told "Soup or Potato Skins only..." however, so bear this in mind if visiting...
