I visited this cafe for my lunch with a friend.The service was excellent and their was a lovely homely atmosphere. I chose the home made soup and it was delicious , scored 11 out of 10.I enjoyed being able to see all the dogs with their owners as I don’t have one ofMy own.

Just newly discovered this fabulous cafe on the river Tyne. Great food, very friendly and efficient service and very affordable. The location is very popular with cyclist and walkers (with and without dogs) lovely footpaths and great scenery. The staff welcome dogs and even provide treats for the well behaved ones (dogs not their humans).

We only stopped for a coffee which we took away and had by the riverside, beautiful.I had a cappuccino which was very good, my good lady had an Americano which she really enjoyed too, high praise in itself, the boy went for a fruit shoot. We also got a caramel slice each which was delicious, we would certainly go back to try some more of the menu.Oh It's dog friendly too 😁🐶
