Heroes in Newcastle upon Tyne

You get what you pay for, a bed for the night, the location is excellent, everything else is slightly below par, nowhere to put clothes, no room to swing a mouse let alone a cat, not even a chair in your room. If you are in Newcastle for a Stag or Hen night then this place is just fine, don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

Cheap, good location and surprisingly really comfortable beds. One of my mates Tony done nothing but sleep the whole time we were there.

Great location for exploring the night life on offer. The rooms felt secure as each door had a code to enter. Bed was clean and ok for a night or two. Floor was a bit dirty though but maybe that was just our room. It's basic but a great price all the same

Ideal for squaddies on a stag do, great location comfy beds, not the best for cleanliness but you only get what you pay for. We loved it!!

(This place doesn't deserve a star had to put it to post)Stayed here for one night, only way I could describe the place was disgusting!For one it looks nothing like the photos on the website you have to check in at a store by this silver door that I think anyone on the street can walk into!Our room didn't lock and on arrival you can clearly see the place hasn't been cleaned in a good month, the sheets had stains all over them along with the shower in the bathroomCovered in dirt on the floor!It rained so we had to dry ourself with a duvet as they don't have towels!Would never come back nor tell people to stay I'm very surprised this place hasn't been shut down for a health hazard .... Horrible

Location was fantastic, staff couldn't be nicer. Very budget accommodation, if you are used to luxury then this is not the place for you. Rough and ready attitude needed to stay here. Great spot for a bunch on the beer, bed and shower is all you need

Stayed here as a hen party 10th March in an 8 bed room. It is what it is beds and a roof over your head beds were comfy and staff were helpfull. For 20 quid each a night who can complain. Slap bang in the centre of the nightlife so great for partygoers. Would definitely stay again.

Very bad hotel. You can't call it as hotel. No towel , no hangers, no cupboard. Not clean dirty toilets. 75degree inclined stairs. No space in rooms all bunk beds .No table or chairs. Not recommended at all. Don't waste your money.

Stayed here for one night as a family of 7. Place was perfect to get your head down for the night, clean enough with a central location. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. The bathroom and bedding were bearable (the management rave on about how they pride themselves in clean bedding and make quite rude remarks about guests reviews in reply online). Actually the pillows were thinner than a pancake, I had to sleep on top of the duvet because all I could feel were the springs. Dirty crumbs under the bed & hairs under the bed on the carpet. Door slamming constantly from around 2.30am with drunk people coming in and out of their rooms, shouting, singing Celtic songs until 5am , then they sleep for an hour and start playing the radio. No staff, they couldnt care less. They make you pay a £20 deposit per person. I dont think anything could be worth £20 in the room!Horrible horrible place. I would never ever stay here nor reccommend it to anyone
