We had a fantastic meal for a special occasion in the private dining area on Saturday. I couldn’t fault one bite of the meal and highly recommend for everyone to try it!The service from start to finish was friendly and attentive, all staff were very well mannered and happy to help us with anything. The private dining area is beautifully decorated and added to the great atmosphere.

I couldn't be happier with our experience at Hotel du Vin! It is an absolutely stunning building, very clean and obviously well taken care of. The staff there were so lovely and helpful when we needed. The suit we stayed in is absolutely amazing, it has gorgeous twin baths (perfect for sharing with a partner), an amazingly huge bed! The breakfast on the morning was absolutely fabulous, eggs cooked just how we asked, the food was just amazing! I don't have words to describe how amazing the place is, will definitely be staying again and will highly recommend!

My partner and I booked the Thierry Lombard signature suite for Valentine's day. We were particularly excited about the twin-roll top baths and anticipated a very romantic and luxurious stay.Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our experience. The room was very unclean - every upholstered surface was dirty and stained. From the sofa, to the benches, to the throw cushions on the bed. I wasn't able to sit comfortably on any of the soft furnishings and actually felt quite repulsed at how unclean they were. I wonder when the a manager or senior member of staff last checked over the room? I'm not talking one or two splodges - it looked as though someone had thrown a very messy house party and not cleaned any of the soft furnishings afterwards. I didn't poke around the bed too much as I was frightened what I would find, but a corner of the sheet had come untucked and I could see that the mattress was also disgusting and covered in stains. It's a good thing the room came with 2 baths and 2 showers as you'd need them to feel clean after sleeping in that bed... If it hadn't have been valentine's day I would have sought alternative accommodation but we were unable to find something that wasn't completely extortionate at such short notice.Had it been a normal night, or an average hotel room, I probably would have just said nothing and resolved to never go back to The Hotel du Vin again - but we paid a ridiculous amount of money to stay in the SIGNATURE SUITE of a 4 star hotel on the most romantic holiday of the year. It simply wasn't good enough.I implore anyone who is thinking of booking this room for a special occasion to please look elsewhere. What appeared to be a special and luxurious option was a complete let down and left us very disappointed.

Absolutely amazing facility. The layout and interior of the reception is very welcoming and interesting. The custom made bar and display in the bar area is amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about the vast range of beverages they can offer. The food was exceptionally delicious and what can only be described as something you would experience in the finest restaurants in London. The private dining areas are a true experience with excellent dining facilities and a uniquely designed chandeliers with a one off hand painted feature wall that truly captures the heart of the city's history. There are hints of interesting industrial history throughout the hotel to truly reflect on what the city has done. The bedroom facilities are very luxurious and yet so refreshing. They offer an experience of relaxation so easily, one could fall into a false reality of being a wealthy millionaire. There is a fantastic outdoor seating area with a wooden fire that offers a true comforting and interacting area to relax on an evening after a delicious meal. Absolutely worth taking the time to book a visit and experience such a great hotel.

DBB in Cristal Suite for wedding anniversary. Excellent room with great views. Some features and facilities in the room showing age or lack of maintenance (flickering lights, mains hum on subwoofer of audio system, loose freestanding taps on bath, layers of dust on beach feature), but otherwise a great place to spend some romantic time together.Similarly excellent food, drink and service in the bar and restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

What a fantastic atmospheric venue this hotel is. We joined friends for a fabulous evening of food and wines especially paired by the incomparable Luke our Sommelier and co host for the evening. What Luke doesnt know about wine and entertaining his guests isn't worth knowing, well done hotel du vin!!

Visited for Sunday dinner, one of the best I've had! So much meat and cooked beautifully. Plenty of veg, I almost thought there was too much but it was so tasty I couldn't stop digging in - praying the wife was filling up so I could take more. For dessert went for the creme brulé (expecting the usual ramekin size portion) but this huge bowl came out, we could've shared one between us and hate to admit it beat me and couldn't finish! A bit on the pricey side however when it's that good I don't see that as a negative, so 5 stars.

Simply put, outstanding! A brilliantly relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere and spotless to. Great rooms, great food, lovely location plus the staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful. Highly recommended

Interior inside very nice. Service was very good. Very disappointed with Sunday Roast. Beef wasn't succulent or tasty, cut very thin and a steak knife would've been more suitable for cutting as a little chewy.
