IFry in Newcastle upon Tyne

It’s Good Friday and late in the day, so perhaps our experience needs to reflect this…. or some might say it should mean the opposite 🤔. Anyway, we all had fish and chips and our overall description was ‘MWEH!’. Everything was unremarkable, yet we were hungry so we ate it 🤷‍♂️. The chips were kinda soggy and unloved and even the fish was thin with a very forgettable lifeless batter! Only scored it 3 based on 2 starving hungry teenagers, otherwise it would have been a 2.

Amazing food, amazing staffThe only downside is the location. If you drive there you have no place to park.

Would of been a 1 star if it were the fact the staff are very polite and the chips and curry sauce are piping hot and lovely. However the jumbo sausage was obviously cooked from frozen. The batter was rock hard and the sausage meat was the cheapest of the cheap it was rank!

Only recently discovered they would deliver to Ponteland and was over the moon! We have had quite a few deliveries from these guys now and it’s been amazing everytime! The homemade corned beef patties are my fav! Staff are super friendly and polite highly recommend 😃

Amazing place for food. Best chippy in my area by far. Regular customer since its opened and will continue until it closes. Staff are soo friendly and inviting. 10/10

Very nice meal, almost perfect. Kebab was spot on, chips delicious, and the best garlic sauce I've had in a while.. food was hot too, only thing I was disappointed with was the chillie, was more like tomato soup.. however, ill be ordering from here again.

very impressed with the food and the staffs attitude towards customers.the garlic sauce and kabab wraps are very nice.will be coming here again and will recommend to friends/family to come here. best fish shop in the north east!!!💗💗
