Popular stop on the high street for food or drinks. Large seating area so never normally a problem finding a table. Massive selection of every kind of drink you could want at the very reasonable Spoons prices you expect. Today we had breakfast. No problems finding a table for 3, ordered on the app and drinks arrived quickly with food soon after. Everything as you would expect. Friendly helpful staff.

Food very nice. Price very reasonable. Only negative is we felt the place was not very clean. Table was not wiped after previous customers. Felt due to covid this should have been a priority.

A favourite pub when staying in Newcastle, it's a short trip out but well worth it, if you want to eat outside the bustling city centre. It's very comfortable and the food is both great value and good. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, best spoons in the city.
