Was recommended this place by a local, so as I was staying nearby for work decided to give it a try with a couple of colleagues. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The food was incredible and the service was spot on. I returned the following evening by myself....just to sample some more of the dishes.

Excellent food and great service. Nearly All the cold starters are veggie friendly and the mains were superb. Not to mention the stunning cheesecake for pudding. We were served by 3 amazing staff members who were nothing but attentive, kind and funny. They made our visit wonderful. I wish we could tip them more but the card machine didn’t allow that.It would be great if management could sort out the tipping situation- maybe create a separate pot where the pits go directly into staff bonuses

Perfect stop for lunch on our cycle ride. Sat outside with space for bikes nearby. Great meze style menu with plenty of small options that were great for our need.I’ve visited previously and would recommend to anyone. Great vibe in restaurant and they even sell their handmade pottery.

Ambiently lit, food heavily salted, great selection of drinks and cocktails. Brownie let them down, cakey with not quite the right ratio of brownie to ice cream. Excellent espresso

If you like high quality food and a place with a vibe, come here to find your tribe. Not even sure how may I start this place to describe, but before I do, like, comment, follow, subscribe.Plates are designed for sharing you will see,so instead of ordering for me, go for we.Variety for meat lovers, plant eaters and diet cheaters. For the flavour curious, the beer drinkers and for the plate repeaters.Staff and service is outstanding,I guess it becomes even part of the restaurant branding, make sure to make a reservation so they don’t leave you standing, and be ready to claim that this place has been your finding.

An updated menu since we last visited is now very different to what it used to be and once you've figured out what the dishes are the options are surprisingly varied. Fresh bread, great combination of flavours and textures and always pleasant service makes us come back over and over again.

One of my favourite places in Newcastle, certainly my favourite cafe. Amazing hot drinks, good beer, great small dishes. Extremely cosy and atmospheric, staff and owners are fantastic, as well as the pottery.

An excellent place for food or coffee . We met at 6pm mid week and easily got a table but it filled up later . The portions are perfect sizes and cooked to perfection ! The place has been recently refurbished in great taste . 100% recommend .

Had several loaves of sourdough from here to takeaway during lockdown and it's the best bread I've ever had. Their cakes are absolutely delicious and twice the size you'd usually get for the price. Recently also visited the lemonade stand where they had a great set up for outdoor drinks. Service is always impeccable.
