Lovely meal staff helpful and friendly

Delicious food with friendly, efficient staff. Lucky to be offered a window seat with fabulous views of the river Tyne and the Millennium Bridge.

The seating was very nice, the drinks were lovely, the starters were absolutely delicious. However, the mains really let my wife and I down, it was all so well, but, thankfully I had the toffee pudding dessert which was lucky as the brownie was just a bit too dense and thick. The mains which included the pork belly and the second main which was the tiger prawns and linguine was a big fat let down. Otherwise the service and friendliness from the staff was great. Would back again for starters and drink.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Chez. The food was entirely enjoyable, the service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere pleasant amidst a boutique styled restaurant.

I asked a lot of Chez Mal. A personalized food order and interraction from the staff to celebrate a milestone birthday. Not only were all three courses splendid but the staff, led by Chef Mariusz, made sure that Angela's birthday meal was an evening to remember for years to come.My expectations were high but were exceeded due to the efforts of the entire team inside the restaurant.
