The place is closed at the moment. I'm not sure if it will open again. It'll be a shame if it doesn't open again it was a nice little place.

Maddisons is closed as of August 2019 due to a licence issue. Its not looking to reopen at present.

Big place, good prices. But so empty...

Not much really to say. A lot of Chavs come to this 0lace so it always feels a bit hostile. Music is a little but too retro. Prices are okay if you're looking for a cheap night out.

Treble G&Ts for £3.65... what's not to like? Bar staff were pleasant and facilities were clean.

Dark venue with an odd shape, but it had a cocktail happy hour which helps pass the time

I would have given no stars but this isn't an option. Not my experience but my partner was pushed by the bouncers she is only little bless her and this savage stole her bottle off her at the front door and when she went to go in the bar he stopped her and pushed her back. She asked why and said that she had freely given it in order to get in. When he said shale was not getting in she then asked for it back. he told her no and pushed her again. Aggressive and brutish door staff and unwelcoming atmosphere all round I strongly advice anybody with the same experience to come forward and tell the police and make a complaint. it is unacceptable to employ this sort of bullying tactics and a bar is somewhere you go for a nice time not to be abused by staff or Wat I imagine thay will say is he was hired by some sort of agency.

Very abusive door staff they are hands on and very argresive even when you show no threat my friend was willing to leave and she was grabbed and pushed out the door by the door staff even when she was outside they pushed her again... I loved Maddison's and love the bar staff but they have unwelcoming door staff shall not be going again unfortunately hope they investigate this and check cctv about how she was delt with because they are just bully's with badges :(!
