Well it's been years literally (20+years) since I have been to Marco polo's. What have I missed!!!Great food, great staff.Food cooked to perfection and full of flavour.Really enjoyed the whole experience tonight we will be back to try more food.Two very happy customers 😀

The food was good and the staff were nice. Lost 2 stars as the pasta portions could be a little bigger and I was a bit disappointed with the fact that there were no vegan deserts. It was also a bit cheeky to add a £15 service charge to our bill. I only tip if I am not asked to do so.

Over priced food. Garlic bread and pizza too thick. Pasta with sauce very dry. Nothing special, very disappointed. Menu very limited, no specials. Will not return.

The food is great. I had the meatballs, wife had a pizza. Was fairly full at lunchtime but we were served in good time.Only slight thing was the service charge being added automatically to the bill, putting you in the odd position of having to say "please remove that" if you want to tip your server specifically.

Very nice atmosphere. Food on the NE1 Restaurant week menu was good though disappointed with lamb shank ( thought it would be a shank ), still very tasty though small portion. Service from Adrian was absolutely brilliant, thank you. Certainly recommend a dining out evening there.

The bar snacks here (cheese and red onion garlic flatbread, and calamari) were AMAZING ! The 2-4-1 cocktails were also really delicious, the bar decoration was really cool and the staff were really friendly to recommend some places for entertainment later that evening after our plans got cancelled last minute.

5 star service. 5 star food. 5 star atmosphere. 5 star efficiency. If I could give it more then I would. My steak was cooked to perfection, the food came out super fast and the staff were incredibly friendly.Have definitely found my favourite Italian restaurant in Newcastle, if not England.Thank you and we will DEFINITELY be back

Great pizza with nice flavours, was fantastic value. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bit cramped in the restaurant and toilets are not the best design with sink being behind the door (almost crushed another customer opening the door).Lost a star due to automatic addition of 10% service charge.

We booked the place after seeing the ambience while we were visiting Newcastle.. our dinner was totally worth it.. Being vegetarian, leaves us with few options but this place has some good options.. we just loved the food n drinks - ordered Malfy sunset, roast vegetables pizza and mushroom risotto. Great ambience, very friendly staff and service was quick! Will visit again when in Newcastle!
