Mei Mei Chinese take away in Newcastle upon Tyne

Asked if they needed a delivery driver and the attitude from the staff member was disgusting “no we don’t” with an impolite tone I said no worries thanks and I just got hung up on. No bye or nothing. Rude customer service

Without a doubt the best Chinese food in the east end. Never had a bad meal from here. The full family love it.

Customer service is practically non existent. No welcome greeting. No conversation. Not a word of thanks. Threw my change at me.Charged me 2 pounds over menu price. She said it was because I bought the food separately ( when I finally got a word out of her)The food is good so unfortunately I will be going back.Please train your staff in customer service

Person on the phone was rude and pretty useless when sorting my order. They never bothered ringing me and claimed my number was wrong (which it wasn't). They said they would heat my food up and send it back out with half a refund which they didn't do either of. To top it off she was ignoring my calls when I was trying to find out where it was and claimed she was closed before the time it says on the website

Food has been great every time we've ordered. The meat is great quality and the portions are massive. Quick delivery and great prices.

Nearly two hours waiting on food when we were told it would be about an hour. Never again , lost my custom . Ps when the food dose come if it’s nasty I will be paying yous a visit

Don’t expect a hello in the shop. Food is ok but customer service skills are non existent. Not a word is spoken except for the price. Even the delivery driver hands over his money in silence. Very strange

Meal was inedible due to being overcooked. Ribs were blackened and dry. Chicken wings were just the same. Chicken nuggets so hard they cracked when bitten into. Bean sprouts were cold mushy stew. And to top things off the meal was delivered an hour later than estimated delivery time. £25 wasted as almost all ended up in the bin!

First time I've used this takeaway and was delivered 10 minutes after ordering how can that be fresh yet delivery stated 19.07 ordering at 18.06..Then get text at 18.30 say8ng order won't be long when already arrived 10 minutes agoI ordered House Special Singapore Chow Msin. It's meant t be.hot and spicy..The food was so bland tastes nothing spicy was like plain wholemeal wemr in binor other meats so tough..While meal has gone in the bin what a disgusting takeaway certainly won't EVER use that or you AGAIN ..Disgusting from start to finish..Waste of £13.20 ..Vile food and couldn't have been fresh 10 minutes after ordering then get text saying meal on way when arrived Ten minutes ago..Won't advise anyone to use this takeaway whole thing ruined wasn't what ordered..What a Disgrace never use this again..Vile food and services..Couldn't get anything more disgustingLost a customer load of hoeeiblw food
