Mimi’s Ice Cream Emporium in Newcastle upon Tyne

Fabulous flavours, great service, friendly helpful staff, the willy wonka of ice cream. Well worth visiting more than once. Parking is a little tricky depending on the time of day, great place to visit alone or with family and friends, give it a try.

Recently made my first visit here as my nephew says it's his favourite place to get ice cream. I went for a white chocolate milkshake and it was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Me and my son visited for ice cream and milkshakes and Jacob said it was the best banana milkshake he'd ever had, really friendly service too. We can't wait to come back.

Very poor choice of icecreams. The one I had was supposed to have been Oreo flavoured but tasted nothing like it. Also, it wasn't all that frozen, too soft.

Amazing selection of homemade ice cream and very nice staff, easily the best stop along the A1!Highly recommend.

Massive choice of ice cream flavours and the server took her time to explain the flavours to us which helped make our choices. I had a scoop of the Turkish Delight flavoured ice cream and a scoop of the Chocolate Orange both were really good.

Great varied selection of Ice Creams, toppings, containers and some big, filling tasty waffles for me. Room inside to sit as a family, and outside on their tables if the sun is out.It is what it is, get stuck in and eat. Our little one loves it, cannot ask for more than that I guess. Also a members scheme for freebies, so you can get your ice creams for free once in a while. What is not to like about that.

A great variety of homemade ice cream, not too fatty nor too sugary. Very delicious and yummy!

Fantastic Family venue, run by friendly helpful polite people, who are very informative about their flavours of ice cream and always willing to offer a sample to ensure you order the favourite one for you, lovely quirky cubicles to bring back a great place to hang out and eat ice cream, have a nice shake or a lovely locally scoured coffee, don't forget to join their members scheme for great deals and discounts! I can highly recommend the jammy doger ice cream it's fast becoming my favourite and the snickers one is a close second too! And they even do take home tubs too of course!

What an excellent place! The staff here are so friendly and great with the children. I've been a few times now since it opened and it just keeps getting better. An amazing selection of ice creams and sorbets and they cater for vegans too. Also do a full range of drinks, coffees and cakes. Plenty of seating available and with all the flavours to try, you won't want to leave until you do.
