Moulin Rouge Cafe & Grill in Newcastle upon Tyne

Staff are totally disrespectful, went in today to get some food and a cup of tea. One member of staff barged past me on numerous occasions without even acknowledging my presence and the other member of staff stared at my like I was something wrong. Get some sort of manners if you want to run a successful business this isn't the sort of treatment that customers should recieve. (Just a quick note for the members of staff concerned, I think you two want to take a good look in the mirror as you two ugly t₩@*s are scaring away punters :)

Lovely atmosphere. The staff is very polite and welcoming. Food is freshly prepared within a few minutes.

Had the perfect breakfast & nice strong coffee. Just what you need after a night out on the toon! Lovely friendly service too.

Absolutely fantastic.Ordered the mixed kebab meal and it was cooked pretty quick, brought over with great service from the staff.Garlic sauce very nice, home made chilli sauce was delicious, not too spicy.The meat was unbelievably seasoned, especially the saffron chicken.Lots of other options on the menu including English and Italian options.Also had the Persian tea at £1, was lovely. First time I went i wasn't impressed by the outside of the resteraunt but wow what a hidden gem ! The food is fantastic and defiantly worth a try

Food is incredibly DELICIOUS. You could order the English Breakfast (perfectly decent I'm sure), but why would you? Try the specials and Persian offerings.

Their big breakfast is the best I've ever had, bacon, sausage,egg, tomato, mushroom, black pudding, hash brown, beans , toasted bread. And all for under a fiver.Cooked while you wait and served on hot plate.Not a big eating area but the dinning area was very clean with table's nicely spaced, comfortable seating with clean , spotless cutlery and condiments.A very pleasant experience.

Absolutely beautiful food, i strongly recommended the persian breakfast not to mention the other persian dishes. Super friendly staff. I cant wait to visit again.

Small, working class cafe in a non tourist area. Set amidst the city's motorcycle sales and repair shops. This has to be one of the great bargain meals of the town. I paid 4.50£ for an immense English breakfast. Theres a black pudding hidden under the beans in my photo.
